Once the problem of the episode has been explained, Mickey invites the viewers to join him at the Mousekedoer, a giant Mickey-head-shaped computer whose main function is to distribute the day's Mouseketools, a collection of tools needed to solve the day's problem, to Mickey. Realizing that they spend too much money, he increases the prices on everything and slashes all of the club's budgets. Eventually, when the guests are driven away by the gang out-Scrooging Scrooge, the old duck takes back all the money from Pete that he used to pay for the club and things return to normal. The Barn Dance (March 14, 1929) is the first time in which Mickey is turned down by Minnie in favor of Pete. The Opry House (March 28, 1929) was the first time in which Mickey wore his white gloves. Mickey wears them in almost all of his subsequent appearances and many other characters followed suit. The three lines on the back of Mickey's gloves represent darts in the gloves' fabric extending from between the digits of the hand, typical of glove design of the era. The episode begins with the gang having finished building Mickey's new house, but Mickey has trouble finding the key to it. It turns out true; Von Drake forgot to count himself as one of the guests when singing about who was there. Chip and Dale try to steal all the nuts in the club, and when Donald tries to stop them, Mickey and Goofy blame him for the theft. Chip and Dale finally trick Donald into flooding the club with the stolen nuts, which Mickey and Goofy think it was Donald's idea of a tribute to Chip and Dale.

The Cactus Kid (April 11, 1930) was the last film to be animated by Ub Iwerks at Disney. Shortly before the release of the film, Iwerks left to start his own studio, bankrolled by Disney's then-distributor Pat Powers. Powers and Disney had a falling out over money due Disney from the distribution deal. It was in response to losing the right to distribute Disney's cartoons that Powers made the deal with Iwerks, who had long harbored a desire to head his own studio.

Mickey goes over his checklist to see what he did first, which was digging a big hole in the ground to set the foundation for his house. To keep Pete busy, Mickey gives him the royal treatment until Minnie reveals she foresaw Mickey making a blunder like using the rent money on cheese and gives up saved money she kept in case of an emergency like this. Pete attempts to stop the show again by removing the electrical battery and turning off all the club's electricity.
The final step on the checklist was putting the doors and windows into the walls of the house. Mickey remembers a series of events that caused the toolbox to land in the squirrel's tree. The squirrel grabs the key from the toolbox before it rolls back to Mickey's front door. Mickey concludes that they key fell out of his toolbox when it landed in the tree, so the friends search the tree for the key.
The new season also includes an epic camping trip special and sees Mickey and the gang celebrating an array of holidays, including Nochebuena, Chuseok, Arbor Day and Hanukkah. Along their adventures, they make new friends and meet up with beloved Disney characters like Huey, Dewey and Louie.
